the world. ASTA promotes the development of better seed
to produce better crops for a better quality of life.

Association
of Official Seed Certifying Agencies - The
Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies, (AOSCA)
represents a network of independent seed certification
agencies that are committed to providing official unbiased
field inspection and lab testing services within their
respected boundaries or domain. The Association was
originally established in 1919 as the International
Crop Improvement Association. Currently, membership
consists of 44 state certification agencies within the
United States and seven national agencies: Argentina,
Australia, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, Panama and South
Africa. Programs offered include, but are not limited
to: Seed Certification, Quality Assurance, Identity
Preserved, OECD Seed Schemes and Organic Certification.
